Job Description Summary:
This position is a part-time role supporting the Bing Infusion Center pharmacy and is scheduled to work three days per week (24 hours/week). The infusion center is currently staffed by pharmacy technicians Monday through Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm with no evening, weekend, or holiday rotation. In this role, the certified pharmacy technician will collaborate with pharmacists to support all medication needs within the infusion center including interpreting, obtaining, preparing/compounding, labeling, and distributing chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy infusion orders for patient use while taking into consideration patient age and any other relevant information. This position also documents the distribution of medication for proper use and reimbursement in accordance with department policy. They will also be involved in production, packaging, record keeping, receiving, and stocking tasks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma, GED, or foreign school diploma equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Individual must be registered as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
- Work requires a high school level of skills and good communication skills. Work requires the ability to gather and interpret data in situations where the information or problems are not difficult or complex. Work requires the ability to exchange information and explain instructions and/or procedures to employees, patients, and others. Work involves following existing procedures and instructions, sometimes receiving assignments in the form of results expected, due dates and general procedures to follow.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of compounding, pharmacy math skills, hospital pharmacy operations, medical terminology, and various drug names (trade generic).
