Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced O365 and Slack Engineer to join our team. As an O365 and Slack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the architecture and functionality of Microsoft O365 and Slack within our enterprise environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, security, scalability, and compliance across these platforms. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and administration of Jira and Confluence as needed.
Responsibilities : O365 Architecture and Implementation : Design and implement O365 architecture, including Azure Hybrid Cloud, Microsoft Azure, AAD, AD, domain, email, SharePoint, hybrid environments, and IAM. Ensure proper configuration and customization for O365 services, optimizing performance, system health, and scalability. Collaborate with other cloud-based services, integrating identity providers, collaboration tools, and DevOps platforms.
Slack Architecture and Implementation: Design and deploy Slack at an enterprise level, considering scalability, security, and governance requirements. Integrate Slack with other systems and applications to enhance functionality and automate workflows. Develop apps and bots to extend Slack's capabilities and integrate with other tools and systems.
Jira and Confluence Development (Secondary Focus): Assist in the configuration and customization of Jira projects and Confluence spaces. Ensure Jira Cloud Enterprise and Confluence Cloud Enterprise performance, data governance, and compliance. Support Jira and Confluence migration, upgrades, and integration with other cloud-based services.
Security, Compliance, and Administration: Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards for both O365 and Slack. Perform administration and maintenance tasks for O365 and Slack, including user management, access control, and channel management. Troubleshoot issues, provide technical support, and assist with user adoption and training for Slack.
Qualifications : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in architecture design, implementation, and administration of O365.
Strong expertise in Microsoft products and technologies related to O365.
Proficient in Slack architecture, design, and implementation.
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is desired but not mandatory.
Knowledge of cloud migration strategies and experience with cloud-based services integration.
Solid understanding of security, compliance, and governance requirements for enterprise-level systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at various levels.
