The Security Concierge will be a first point of contact for visitors and clients at our Magnetics Facility. The Security Concierge will have duties that include administering access control, welcoming and directing visitors, responding to inquiries, and providing general administrative support. The individual will ensure a secure and professional atmosphere through vigilance and confidentiality.

The Security Concierge will be required to perform a full range of skills and services, including but not limited to:
Welcome and direct visitors, vendors, clients, and personnel. Administer access control systems, monitor visitor registration, and issue visitor identification as required.
Manage incoming phone calls, oversee mail and deliveries, keep the front desk area clean and organized, and carry out general administrative tasks.
Maintain a high level of situational awareness, respond to security alarms or incidents promptly, and report any suspicious activities or breaches in security.
Skillfully employ de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution skills to address any disruptions or conflicts, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor at all times.
Demonstrate proficiency in weapons handling and unarmed defensive tactics to respond swiftly and appropriately to any necessary security incidents.
Basic Qualifications:
Prior experience in administrative duties and responsibilities.
Exceptional customer service skills with the capacity to interact professionally with diverse visitors and personnel.
Robust verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts and disturbances effectively and professionally.
Solid understanding of fundamental security principles, situational awareness, and de-escalation techniques.
Comfortable and proficient in weapons handling and unarmed defensive tactics.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
Security Training/Certification: Existing firearm certifications, including Level 3 and/or Level 4 Texas DPS, are highly desirable.
Advanced Technical Skills: Familiarity with advanced security systems and software, including CCTV and access control systems.
Multi-tasking: Capability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities under pressure.
Military or law enforcement experience is strongly preferred.
Job Requirements:
Candidates must be prepared to undergo a comprehensive background check.
Availability to work during regular business hours from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends or after-hours shifts as necessary, is a must.
Must have a First Aid/CPR/AED for all ages certification (MP can provide the training).
Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
Fluently read, speak, and write the English language.
Firm understanding of local and state “Use of Force” laws.
Must possess a valid driver license with time dependable mode of transportation.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Candidates must pass companies background and reference checks, drug testing, and behavioral selection surveys.
High School Diploma or equivalent, College Degree preferred.
Veterans Preference Credit:
Veterans with honorable discharge, yes.

Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers.
The employee is required to hear conversations in noisy environments.
Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, climb stairs, and walk as required to perform the duties associated with functioning as a Security Concierge.
Ability to squat, kneel, and crawl as needed.
Occasional pushing/pulling/carrying/lifting of objects; may be up to 50 lbs. and include climbing stairs.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to use hands to handle, hold or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with arms, and talk or hear.
Normal vision or corrected by use of glasses and/or contacts for normal reading and viewing abilities. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
May occasionally be required to work outdoors in inclement weather.
May be required in some positions to have sufficient dexterity, mobility, physical ability and stamina, to restrain individuals in accordance with established guidelines, and sufficient mobility to respond to clients’ needs.
May experience frequent to occasional confrontational situations.
