Our Speech-Language Pathologists enjoy smaller caseloads. They work in a highly-collaborative team environment with a very supportive administration - not to mention the greatest kids in the Bay Area! We are seeking a patient, kind and thoughtful clinician to work in collaboration with other specialists and classroom teachers. This is a part-time .6 FTE position. Candidates must have the following qualifications: · Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders · Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) issued by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) · Valid California Speech-Language Hearing license issued by the Department of Consumer Affairs- California Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Dispensers Board · Current Clinical Rehabilitative Services Credential or Clear Speech Language Pathology Services Credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) · Experience in a school-based setting Desired Skills: · Experience working with students with learning differences, social-cognitive challenges and executive function deficits in grades 1-12 · Knowledge of current evidenced based practices in Speech Language Pathology · Extensive knowledge of assessment tools and report writing · Experience facilitating social groups and extensive knowledge of Social Thinking curriculum/concepts · Experience with individual, small group and classroom-based service delivery models · Experience being part of an Individual Education Plan (IEP) team and familiarity with IEP procedures · Strong collaboration and communication skills. · Exceptional written and verbal communication skills · Strong record keeping and organizational skills Open to CFY with experience.
