The Mountain West’s premier outdoor retail/rental shop, Switchback Sports, is hiring full-time Sales and Marketing Manager. This is a Full Time/Year Round job with benefits and a flexible work schedule to maximize your time outside. Be part of a fun team who sets the standard in the ski and bike industry. Responsibilities Include:
• Responsible for building new account relationships at hotels, property management and other 3rd party vendors to drive both rental and retail growth across all platforms.
• Responsible for maintaining and growing existing account relationships at hotels, property management and other 3rd party vendors that already drive both rental and retail growth across all platforms.
• Build a seasonal marketing plan that highlights timelines, key account visits and content for interaction.
• Must exhibit strong leadership skills and an ability to work independently.
• Work with Area Manager and Digital Content Manager to help build our online brand presence by assisting with content creation and promotion on appropriate online applications and customer communication.
• Work with Area Managers and Content Manager to build and promote consistent brand messages for instore, online, direct and indirect communications.
• Work with Area Managers and Content Manager to build and promote the brand within the local community.
• Work with the local community and non-profit organizations to coordinate help with events, programs, etc.
• Create all marketing promotional related items for brand building – hats, mugs, etc.
• Build seasonal marketing and advertising budget across all platforms.
• Create and maintain all physical and print signage, marketing materials and advertising documentation.
• Make sure all branding materials are maintained and refreshed seasonally to reflect new pricing, products and service offerings.
• Find appropriate vendors and order all supplies and equipment necessary for improving sales and brands across all platforms.
• Deliver commission checks and related items to key partners on a monthly basis
• Hire and manage all 3rd party vendors to assist in brand building, marketing and sales initiatives.
• Must be able to communicate Switchback Sports culture, values and goals to employees, community and guests.
• Support Area Manager and Store Manager with merchandising the store around promotions and seasonal updates.
• Reports to Area Manager.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Canva, Adobe or equivalent.
• All other duties, activities and processes as assigned.
