About this role:

As Regional Broker Channel manager you will be part of a team that is charged with designing, launching and leading our sales efforts through the broker channel. We are looking for a high energy person with a strong desire to learn and who is excited about building something from the ground up.

The focus of this role is to identify, nurture and grow broker relationships to generate meaningful referral leads for GoCo. The initial focus will be on relationship building and lead generation but there is an opportunity to develop this role into a full stack role where you would also be responsible for taking the referral through the sales process.

This role is an in market role with the expectation that the majority of time is spent in your local market meeting with brokers and nurturing these valuable relationships.

In this role, you will be given the trust and support to do great work while having the autonomy to  shape an important growth opportunity for the company. Because we are a small tech-start up your contributions will have a high impact on the business giving you great purpose. You will be part of a new team, reporting to the Head of Broker Channel and you will have tremendous opportunity to grow and develop in this role

What you will do:

+ Build, manage and nurture broker relationships by highlighting the value of GoCo as a solution for their SMB customers

+ Generate  a meaningful referral pipeline from your broker partners with expectation that this channel significantly contributes to sales pipeline and revenue growth

+ Partner with marketing to generate fresh ideas on how to engage brokers and build GoCo awareness and optimize GoCo value prop with this channel

+ Work closely with sales team to ensure that referrals are converting to demos

+ Develop process and best practice to qualify leads

+ Stay organized and metric driven with proper logging of activity in CRM

+ Collect feedback from brokers on product value and sales approach and messaging with aim to iterate and improve

This job is well suited for you if you:

+ Are a strong communicator and collaborator with ability to influence and develop strong relationships

+ Have proven experience generating revenue through channel partners

+ You are a scrappy, resourceful and creative problem solver when understanding the needs of brokers and understanding how GoCo can solve those challenges

+ Have a  desire to be part of a start-up with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get it done

+ Enjoy being in market and meeting with brokers and finding creative ways to stay top of mind

+ Self- motivated and ready to hit the ground running

+ Enjoy creating and nurturing meaningful relationships
