Application Support Analyst AVP Barclays Services LLC seeks Application Support Analyst AVP in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

Responsibilities include managing fraud applications within US Consumer Bank, partnering with PSM for end to end service management, performing major incident management, designing regulated environments for business continuity, developing complex SQL queries, performing application monitoring, attending design authority meetings, reviewing test strategies, providing early life support of new projects, owning end to end application support, educating technology operations teams, driving automation of manual activities, and identifying gaps in alerting and monitoring.

Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $165,672 per year

Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $170,000 per year

Purpose of the role is to effectively monitor and maintain the bank's critical technology infrastructure and resolve more complex technical issues, whilst minimizing disruption to operations.

Accountabilities include providing technical support for service management, executing preventative maintenance tasks, maintaining a knowledge base, analyzing system logs, providing automation and monitoring enhancements, identifying and remediating service impacting risks, proactively assessing support activities, consulting on complex issues, identifying ways to mitigate risk, taking ownership for managing risk, collaborating with other areas of work, engaging in complex analysis of data, communicating complex information, and influencing or convincing stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
