Job Description
Mandatory Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or five (5) years equivalent work experience.
Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing) with technical and staff.
A minimum of two (2) years of programming/systems analysis experience in a mainframe environment (COBOL, Natural, etc.)
Experience with Job Control Language (JCL) and the IBM tools and utilities.
Experience working closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
Experience aligning these solutions with business and IT strategies and complying with the organization's architectural standards.
Experience in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget.
Experience making recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
Experience participating in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations.
Experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
