As a client-facing data analyst on our National Security team, youll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not nly will you provide a deep understanding of their data, but youll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact on their cybersecurity mission.
Responsibilities:
Identifies and collects data sources, analyzes and extracts key data and information, evaluates and monitors data quality to meet the organization's information system needs and requirements. Applies advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members.
How Youll Contribute:
As a data analyst on our team, youll:
Solicit and e nga ge with analysts across your host client team to understand data flow challenges, gaps in tool or data set knowledge, and brainstorm methods to streamline analytic workflows.
Work as part of a team with government, military, and contractor personnel across organizations to research, develop, optimize, test, and document data- related tradecraft, leverage and utilize data source acquisitions and accesses, and troubleshoot data flow issues related to mission needs.
Generate solutions through the collection, interpretation, evaluation, and analysis of large data sets.?
Apply consulting and communication skills and data analytics expertise by simplifying te chn ical requirements and trends, based on audience.?
Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using your knowledge of databases, scripting languages such as Python, and Micro sof t Office Suite.?
Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive te chn ical outcomes.
Grow your communication and te chn ical skills by merging consulting and big data to create data-centric solutions.
Use your data analytics expertise to support client and stakeholder relationships.?
Explore, propose, and justify the use of new data sources to customers.
Explain currently available data sources ability to enhance mission outcomes.
Work with us to drive large-scale business and process decisions through data insights.

Qualifications:
You Have: .
5+ years of experience with classified, collateral, and OSINT data sources and query functionalities
Experience developing fingerprints, microplugins, analytics, and notebooks using client discovery and analytic tools
Experience converting data into various formats and preserving meaning
Experience as a cyber analyst, including TDNA or DNEA
Knowledge of Python and regex
Ability to select data, join, and enrich various datasets
Ability to communicate te chn ical information and recommendations to peers, engineers, and analytic customers
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelors degree and 5+ years directly related experience or Masters degree and 3+ years directly related experience
