Full Stack Software Engineer

Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years experience building and deploying web applications
Familiarity with majority of the following frameworks / technologies used in our technical stack
ReactJS for the frontend
NodeJS for the backend
Python for the data processing / machine learning scripts
MongoDB for the database
Git for version control
Kubernetes, Docker for virtualization
Appreciation for clean and well documented code
Strong interest in peer collaboration and teamwork and a willingness to solicit input and accept feedback
Experience writing code for data analysis, and generating visualizations that enable insights into data is a plus
Interest / experience in developing web applications for machine learning / natural language processing applications is a plus It is unlikely a single candidate will have all desired qualifications - we're looking for someone who is strong in some of these skills, and has keen interest and ability to pick up new skills to solve dynamic problems in a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environment.
We are looking for a motivated, self-starting Software Engineer to help transform the initial version of our natural language processing-related web application into a more user friendly, and robust application that can be easily used by multiple internal teams across the company.
This will be done via several small but significant enhancements to the front end user interface, and integration with back end scripts, APIs, and database, working in collaboration with other data scientists and user studies researchers. This project also offers an opportunity to delve into improving the performance of topic modeling algorithms, exploring large language models, and developing visualizations for NLP applications, if the candidate is interested.
