About the role:
This position works within a team of SAP professionals coordinating with different departments to gather data, devising strategies to optimize business performances, identify the strengths and weaknesses of existing programs, and implementing SAP solutions for improvement and optimization. Analyze processes, collaborating with business teams, and overseeing the implementation of our SAP solutions. To ensure success, the candidate should plan, and analyze the SAP functional design, development, testing and implementation. Provides support, assistance, and training to users.
Responsibilities:
In depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA system. Continuous improvement of the SAP solution in the respective modules according to business needs.
Create process design documentation & functional specifications for new or changed requirements to optimize the business processes
Responsible for directly supporting various business units in their utilization of SAP module.
Guide, collaborate and support cross functional organizations ensuring all products, portals and SAP configurations conform to accepted business practices and SAP system set-up
Leads projects of the SAP applications and operates as an internal consultant and thought leader with the business users.
Works with business units to ensure project objectives are well defined, tracked, and completed on schedule.
Prepare and execute regular training/information sessions with the key users regarding new SAP innovations, new implemented functionalities
Provide and transfer functional and process knowledge of the latest SAP releases and practices by keeping current on various published materials and training outlets.
Assist key business users in creating the functional requirements needed to alter SAP in line with changes in business practices.
Responsible for translating the user’s functional specifications into a technical specification on which the new SAP configuration will be based.
Support critical users in end-user training and “go-live” support.
Keeping informed of the latest SAP updates, developments, and offerings.
Work as the key support for incidents & service requests including root cause analysis and documentation. Assessing business needs via business process analysis, collaboration, and observation Provide ongoing training and knowledge transfer to users to enable them to become self-sufficient in the operation and training of the system.
Providing technical support to business teams by answering questions about how to use specific applications or reporting tools
Participating in meetings with business teams to understand their needs and develop strategies to address them
Providing support to other team members by answering questions about specific processes or providing information regarding business needs
Responsible for quickly resolving and documenting day-to-day issues as they arise.
Work with development team to design and implementing new software solutions
Determine how to integrate SAP software programs to enhance targeted business processes and user-friendly interfaces.
Ensure reports are available to departments within the organization. Documenting SAP processes and preparing progress reports.
Align & prioritize regional business needs to feed the IT/SAP roadmap
Has a role in ensuring system smooth integration and rollout by coordinating closely with the affected functional area.
Acting as an internal resource for knowledge about SAP systems and software applications
Provide SAP end-user training and support.
Candidate requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (Information Technology, Business Informatics, Business Administration, etc.) or equivalent technical work experience/certification required
SAP Certification
A minimum of 5 years-experience as SAP business Analyst in a similar industry
In-depth knowledge of the latest advancements in SAP applications, processes
The SAP Analyst (SD/MM/FI/PP) has direct communication with the business teams and is responsible for the implementation of the business process and technical requirements, ensuring continuous improvement of the solution in the areas, SD, MM, FI, PP and Master Data Management.
Good knowledge about the functional capabilities and usage of SAP/R2 in the modules of, SD, MM, FI, PP, ideally in sales or manufacturing environments
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, organizational and time management skills
Works closely with developers, customizing SAP to meet the business requirements Advanced ability to manage projects and provide leadership
Superb communication, team player, with presentation skills
