Compensation: $50k – $58k, sick pay, paid vacation, free & discounted spa services
compensation is hourly; Yearly compensation is based on 38-40 hours/week
We are looking for an energetic and reliable services manager to run the services and facilities aspect of our daily operation and manage staff of about 10+ employees (3-5 spa associates, 5-8 massage therapists) at our spa/wellness center. If you are a self-confident person who can handle tough situations with finesse, and not be easily frazzled, please read on.
The services manager is responsible and accountable for daily operations including:
keeping our services on time,
maintaining client satisfaction
keeping harmony among staff
managing daily schedules and vacation requests
keeping the facilities in perfect order
helps out with services when needed
We have a great running spa, with wonderful customers, great staff and a system that really works. We don’t need you to come up with a new magical system to create income for the spa, we have that handled (but are always happy to listen to your ideas.) We do need you to be responsible for the day–to–day operations: Make sure everything continues to work smoothly at the spa every day. On a daily basis, you will share responsibilities with our front manager (responsible for customer scheduling and front desk operations) and you will report to our General Manager or owners.

Responsibilities:
As a services manager, you anticipate, plan and manage daily needs of the operation to make sure services are performed on time and according to company standards.
You ensure and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, address customer dissatisfaction, and resolve complaints.
The services manager assists in hiring and training, and supervises team members according to company policies, procedures and expectations.
You track staff schedules efficiently to optimize capacity, revenue, and profits.
You maintain cleanliness and calming ambiance of the spa
You will need to learn to understand our booking system and fill in at the front desk if required
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Highly developed sense of integrity
Must work weekends (You will have Mondays +Tuesdays or alternative days off)
Be willing to get hands-on if needed
Bachelor’s degree preferred
5 years of spa/retail or service experience preferred
1-2 years of experience managing staff/teams
