Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for a Director of FP&A . Our client is looking for someone with 10+ years of finance experience, manufacturing industry experience, and strong analytical and financial modeling skills. The salary for this position is $160-170k + bonus.
The Director of FP&A will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze and monitor market price risk, and help develop a high performing financial planning & analysis team.
Lead efforts to validate and optimize by-product / ingredient costs and margins, support mass balance efforts to optimize supply.
Develop internal financial expertise to lead decision support.
Provide financial validation and oversight on risk management strategies, coverage levels and overall positions to balance risk and optimize financial impact.
Collaborate with team to support and implement strategic decisions.
Lead, coach, and develop finance talent across the organization.
Develop proactive financial contingency plans.
Ad hoc projects as needed.
The Director of FP&A will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
10+ years of job-related experience.
Ability to present fact-based recommendations across various levels of management.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
MBA or CPA preferred.
Dairy manufacturing industry experience required.
Ability to travel occasionally.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
