Key Job Responsibilities:
Apply cash remittances, consisting of lockbox deposits, credit cards and ACH / wires, accurately and in a timely manner.
Comply with established company criteria for accuracy of cash application along with customer deductions.
Work with various depository banks and resolve potential errors and technical issues.
Perform thorough and timely research and resolution of financial questions or concerns.
Conduct transactional research to achieve resolution to account inquiries.
Provide excellent customer service via conducting detailed transactional research, obtaining resolution, and effectively communicating with team partners or customers in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma plus up to 2 years general accounting or business administration education.
Experience working as a bank teller is a plus
One to three years of relevant experience including exposure to accounting or finance, preferably within high volume settings.
Experience with ERP systems NetSuite experience a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Excel strongly preferred.
Knowledge of various banking transactions (ACH, Wire Transfers, Lockboxes).
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Must be able to maintain and utilize superior discretion in handling confidential information.
Self-starter with demonstrated ability of time management.
Knowledge or ability to learn order to cash process.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
