This is a 6 month contract position in Brownsburg, Indiana with a Radiopharmaceutical manufacturing site.. It is fully on-site.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the EH&S Program
Develop, implement, and enhance training programs for employees on EH&S practices.
Ensure compliance with occupational/industrial safety regulations and standards.
Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
Monitor and evaluate workplace conditions to identify potential hazards or risks.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
Provide guidance and support to employees regarding EH&S policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
3-10 years of experience in EH&S management or related roles.
Strong understanding of occupational/industrial safety practices and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in MS Office suite.
Preferred:
Experience with radiation safety or health physics.
Knowledge of chemical safety and waste disposal procedures.
Experience in training others on EH&S practices.
