Cornerstone Dermatology & Surgery Group is a growing, privately owned dermatology practice located in Lee's Summit, MO. We provide compassionate, expert medical and surgical dermatology care in a comfortable office setting. We offer an excellent total compensation package - including a competitive salary and a full benefits package.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional patient care and service
Assist provider in surgical procedures
Managing a high volume of patient visits
Obtain patient medical history
Provide patient instructions / education
Follow-up with patients regarding labs, biopsy reports, and post-operatively
Answer and return patient phone calls
Schedule procedures and appointments
Clean and sterilize medical instruments
Set up, restock, and sanitize procedure rooms
Ensures safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures
Assist provider in surgical procedures
Arranges operating equipment, instruments, and supplies according to surgeon's preferences
Anticipates surgeon's needs
Handle specimens according to policy and procedure
Washes and assembles surgical instrumentation for sterilization
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Surgical Technologist Certification
BLS Certification
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills

Schedule:
Monday through Thursday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
