Senior Data Analyst (Automation)
Senior Data Analyst (Automation) – OPEX (Plano, TX): Working under minimal supervision, analyze performance data for warehouse automation solutions and use findings to recommend optimal solution specifications for distribution and ecommerce fulfillment centers. Duties include: analyze data to determine requirements for warehouse automation, including storage size, product flow, product placement within storage, automation component speeds, and load balance equipment; recommend customized warehouse automation solution options leveraging the data analysis results; lead development efforts for data analysis tools for both internal and customer needs; work as a principal analyst with a team of analysts and multi-discipline group of engineers to develop data driven software models; study warehouse automation to meet customer’s needs using experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) or Sortation within the automation industry, and based on current market offerings, ecosystems, and relationships; develop innovative methods to filter and clean data to a standardized format for processing; develop clear and concise charts, reports, and presentations that convey the details necessary to drive solution requirements; facilitate calls to gather, evaluate, and present technical information, conveying automation solution options as well as how they can function effectively for the customer; and serve as a senior team member to guide and train analysts.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Analytics or any applicable field and 3 years of experience, or a Master’s degree in same and 1 year of experience. Experience must include performing warehouse automation analysis and using Python programming language. Minimal U.S. travel ( Apply online at www.opex.com/careers.
