Job Description : We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for medical devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of electronics into our products while adhering to regulatory standards.
Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and test electrical components and systems for medical devices.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and regulatory experts to ensure project success.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to inform design decisions.
Generate and review technical documentation such as schematics, specifications, and test protocols.
Perform verification and validation testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and product specifications.
Participate in design reviews and provide input to improve the overall quality and reliability of electrical systems.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in medical device development.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Previous experience working in the medical device industry is highly preferred.
Proficiency in CAD software for PCB design (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro).
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
Familiarity with medical device regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485) is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
Authorization to work in the United States.
