As an HBM Design Engineer in DRAM and Emerging Memory Group (DEG), you will be responsible for crafting and verifying Functional Blocks used in the development of the base die in HBM products. This includes designing, simulating, optimizing, verification, and timing analysis. You will also support the efforts of the HBM Memory Design Team to proactively develop products that optimize all manufacturing functions and assure the best performance, power, cost, quality, reliability, time-to-market, and customer happiness. The seniority level offered will be based on the combination of experience and education.

What’s Encouraged Daily:

Contributing to crafting new HBM product opportunities by assisting with the overall design, layout, and optimization of Memory, Logic, and Analog circuits

Parasitic modeling and assisting in design validation, reticle experiments, and required tape-out revisions

Leading all aspects of and handling the layout process including floor planning, placement, and routing

Performing verification processes with modeling and simulation using industry-standard simulators

Maintain technical expertise and provide training

Contribute to cross-group communication to work towards standardization and group success

Proactively solicit mentorship from Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to ensure the design quality

Drive innovation into the future Memory generation with a dynamic work environment

Working with external collaborators (customers, ecosystem partners, standards bodies, vendors) is vital to ensure successful product definition and execution

How To Qualify:

BSEE or Greater

Extensive knowledge of CMOS Circuit Design and Device Physics

Familiarity with schematic entry and simulation using Finesim and/or Hspice

Experience with power network analysis

Confirmed experience with Verilog modeling and simulation tools

Strong understanding of state machine logic/design verification techniques

Experience with a scripting language (Python, Tcl, Perl, etc.)

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$132,000.00 - $294,000.00 Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
