Manager, Design and User Experience We are hiring creative, passionate, and driven UX Manager to join our Design and User Experience team. As a user-centered design professional, you would help craft delightful user experiences for the leading CX Cloud Software in a fast-paced and innovative environment. As a member of the UX leadership team, you will have the opportunity to help determine strategy and drive customer-facing outcomes; mentor other designers and build and amplify best practices.This role will manage and drive specific enhancements to our CXone applications that improve our users’ experience including the usability and accessibility of the products. This leader will manage our design and usability backlogs as well as manage the relationship with our accessibility consultants – allowing direct ownership of fixes and enhancements to meet our accessibility and usability objectives. While the role will report to our Vice President of Design and User Experience, this is a collaborative role across business units, product teams and development resources. Responsibilities: Manage specific design and feature fix backlogs in Jira.
Work with stakeholders to prioritize and evangelize backlog work.
Create world-class usability experiences for a very versatile set of Personas.
Communicate the business value of UX to stakeholders.
Champion accessibility and inclusive design across LoBs and Products.
Imagine and strategize creative ways we can improve the work lives of our customers and users.
Partner closely with colleagues to create coherent, seamless, and emotionally resonant, state-of-the-art user experiences.
Identify dependencies and impacts across a global delivery team within the complex hierarchy of the NICE CXone Suite of products.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of 3-6 designers and/or researchers.
Identify and hire new UX talent when expanded coverage is needed.
Mentor and inspire designers.
Contribute to UX processes that support product excellence while moving and shipping quickly.
Guide designers as they create and validate solutions to real customer problems.
Bolster and maintain the team's morale and cohesion through team workshops.
Run Ideation meetings, Affinity Sorts, Brainstorms, and whiteboard sessions.
Cross Functional department Collaborations: Collaborate closely with cross-functional product leadership team members to help inform future roadmaps and turn vision into reality.
Partner with product management to assist in writing requirements and helping create design and accessibility evangelists.
Collaborate closely with a variety of disciplines, including product management, engineering, UX research, and marketing.
Required Experience: 6+ years real world working experience in an Enterprise level SaaS Organization working on complex products.
4+ years of managing UX designers and user researchers.
A University degree in User Experience, related field or applicable experience.
Experience with mentoring and growing a high-performance team with diverse skillsets.
Competence in building collaborative relationships and aligning leadership stakeholders.
Experience collaborating with partner disciplines including Research, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Client Support, and Sales.
Experience with design thinking frameworks, as well as both formative and summative UX research.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
