Windows System Administrator KBR is looking to add a Windows System Administrator to our team to provide Windows-based workstation and server support to our DOD customers in Patuxent River, MD.

This is a full-time on-site position. This position offers a CWS/Flex Schedule. Core working hours: M-F, 8-3pm

In this role, you will…

Perform a variety of information technology/infrastructure activities, as well as IT inventory management.

Perform the installation, integration, configuration, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, security implementation, and configuration management of software on Windows based servers

Manage the functionality and efficiency of multiple Windows-based servers

Administer policies and standards related to security and technical implementation guidance

Coordinate with customers to perform software security testing and scans

Maintain system documentation

Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues

Ability to work independently as a part of a team in RDT&E environments

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen

Clearance: Must have an active Top Secret Clearance. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Certification: CompTIA Security + CE

Required education & years of experience (+substitution options below)

Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT related field

Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience which includes

Experience managing Active Directory in an Enterprise management/network experience.

Experience with Group Policy Objects and applying STIGs on AD Domain Controllers

OR

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 9 years of relevant work experience which includes

Experience managing Active Directory in an Enterprise management/network experience.

Experience with Group Policy Objects and applying STIGs on AD Domain Controllers
