**Who You Are:**
We are looking for someone who thrives in a team environment and who is passionate about serving their community. The technical requirements for this position are:
* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
* Minimum two years experience with heavy public contact and an emphasis on customer service
* Certification as a Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) by the American Hospital Association preferred
* Excellent communication skills (Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus)
* OSHA 30 and OSHA 521 certified preferred
* Proficient knowledge of all Federal, State, Local regulations, and industry requirements
* CPR/First Aid certified
* Critical thinker with problem-solving skills
* Excitement and passion for safety and compliance
* Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
* Work requires active physical exertion up to 65% of the time
* Comfortable with handling escalated, sometimes difficult, interactions with the public which may require removal from the premises

**What Youll Do:**
The Wallace Facilities & Safety Manager ensures the safety and security of patients, employees, visitors, and physicians within the boundaries of Wallace Medical Clinic and provides assistance to customers as an informational resource; ensures the safety and security of all property to include buildings, equipment and other assets located onsite. Duties include:
*Security Management*
* Respond timely to urgent situations or escalations involving facilities
* Ensure security of all clinics by installing and monitoring access and technology
* Assess building and parking lot areas to ensure site security
* Coordinate and manage building access including the assignment of keys and door access upon employee on-boarding, the collection of keys and fobs upon employee off-boarding, and the reporting of staff access as needed
* Provide oversight and management of Wallace staff parking permits
*Facilities Management*
* Arranges regular maintenance and inspection of equipment and internal systems such as clinical system, heating system, alarms, security cameras and access control systems
* Facilitates the implementation of space planning efforts to include space enhancements and updates, parking allocation, and moves coordination
* Manage vendor relationships to ensure regular preventive maintenance of facility equipment including HVAC, water distribution controls, fire suppression systems, fire/burglar alarms, and indoor/outdoor signage
* Monitor and ensure timely renewal of state certifications and annual fire inspections
* Develop and maintain a short and long term list of building and facilities maintenance priorities
*Safety Management*
* Conducts regular job site safety visits and inspections
* Maintains and enforces safety policy and procedures, implements preventative and corrective actions when necessary
* Organizes and conducts safety training and certification as necessary with internal and external employees.
* Organizes and facilitates the safety committee meetings to ensure that safety issues in all areas are being addressed and resolved
* Manages all accident and safety claims as they occur, conducts near miss and accident investigations; maintains current knowledge of all open cases and works with the insurance providers to reduce risk and manage claims
* Prepares and reviews safety statistics, accidents reports, and safety audit reports in order to analyze risk trends and implement necessary controls with the assistance of leadership
* Ensures completion of required OSHA record-keeping and reporting
*Other duties*
* Provide assistance, leadership, and coordination of other Wallace projects as needed
* Other duties as assigned
