Title: SAP Cut over lead
Client: Biotechnology/Healthcare
Location: South San Francisco, 94080 (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months Contract potential to hire/possible extension
Pay Rate: 80 - 85 Dollars Per hour
About the Role:
The Cutover Lead for Demand to Pay/Procurement is responsible for ensuring the successful planning and execution of local cutover activities for the SAP S/4 Implementation program.
This role involves close collaboration with project stakeholders to align and document all local elements related to IT and business processes.
Responsibilities: Lead cutover activities for the Demand to Pay/Procurement workstream, including planning, dry runs, and reporting
Develop detailed cutover run-books and communication plans for internal and external stakeholders
Support functional teams in defining local requirements, plans, and execution strategies
Coordinate local dependencies between business, IT, and data, including data remediation efforts
Collaborate with Core counterparts to manage dependencies such as data migration and template cutover
Conduct readiness assessments and Go/No-Go evaluations in coordination with the Deployment Lead
Monitor data and cutover progress, communicate status updates to the leadership team, and maintain post go-live issue log
Coordinate activities of SAP functional experts, technical experts, and Business SMEs
Ensure Ramp-Up plan is in place and support ramp-up reporting/status
Address any "hybrid scenarios" and workarounds, ensuring resolution targets are met
Education Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Finance & Accounting, or equivalent work experience
Required Skills: Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP project delivery and cutover management, with at least 1 S4/HANA full lifecycle implementation
Experience in global and virtual working environments, managing onshore and offshore teams
Proficiency in SAP configurations and dependencies
Hands-on experience and good knowledge of SAP functional/business processes
