Description

Amazon Games is seeking a talented and experienced Localization Program Manager to help manage the translation of our ambitious games portfolio. We want customers around the world to have immersive and exciting gaming experiences in their preferred languages, no matter their country or locale. We want our translations to be as good as or better than the original source! This requires us to think globally from the start and to put processes in place that enable creative, high-quality localization at scale. This is an impactful role with the opportunity to manage the localization processes of multiple titles and to help shape the direction of Amazon Games localization.

Amazon is all in on games. We believe games will become the number one form of entertainment on Earth and be defined by their ability to deeply engage communities of fans inside and outside of the playing experience. We believe the evolution that began with arcade communities a quarter at a time and grew to the live streams and eSports of today, will continue to a future in which fans are creators, players are celebrities, and games are a global cultural touchstone that cuts across age, gender and nationality. Games have the power to connect communities at a massive scale. This role will empower game studios to confidently and continually release high-quality products that delight customers worldwide.

About the team

The Localization Team owns the translation of all in-game and game-related assets for Amazon Games. We work with internal and external game developers to publish their titles globally and ensure they connect with a local audience. As part of the larger Operations team within Amazon Games, the Localization Teams works closely with teams such as Marketing, Player Support, and Release Management to ensure the timely delivery of localized assets that enable games-as-a-service to be enjoyed worldwide.
