As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will analyze the performance of hardware and software interfaces, identifying opportunities to optimize embedded system resources. You will adhere to established programming standards and control techniques to ensure efficient program logic and data manipulation. Your role includes defining, documenting, and communicating software architecture, as well as providing guidance to other software engineers. You will actively participate in the design, coding, testing, debugging, configuration, and documentation of embedded systems and software. Additionally, you will offer support and consultation to users during the development of embedded systems, and oversee the installation of software updates and modifications for embedded software systems.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in C, C++, Go, Rust, or other high-level programming languages.
Thorough understanding of key computer science concepts such as Data Structures and Algorithms.
Comprehensive knowledge of IP networking protocols like TCP/UDP/IP, REST, MQTT, AMQP, etc.
Experience developing embedded firmware or software with cloud connectivity or IoT capabilities.
Familiarity with Linux Kernel, BSP, Hardware Abstraction Layers, and toolchains.
Hands-on experience building or configuring 3rd party Linux packages using Yocto.
Ability to develop and implement unit tests for embedded systems.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Knowledge of microservices and Event-Driven Architecture is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years practical experience and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
