Legal Intake Specialist - Contact Center (99)

Leading and innovative plaintiff's trial law firm is looking for an experienced and charismatic Intake Specialist to join their operations call center team. The Intake Specialist must be experienced in client relations and must understand the key role that they play in being the first person that clients will speak with when calling in. They will be responsible for making clients feel immediately comfortable and helping to kickstart their positive experience while understanding that this initial interaction sets the tone for the client's entire visit and is crucial to the firm's success.
In addition to being an intake agent, the specialist will act as active manager when the Contact Center Supervisor is away. This position helps train and support other agents on the team. The position is onsite at the operations center in Columbus, Ohio and is full time, 8 hours per day (weekend availability & evening availability).
Job duties and responsibilities:
gather information from new and prospective clients that may include medical history, criminal history, event reports and investigation findings
record the client's history and why they are seeking legal services
reassure clients who are confused, hurt or scared and asks thoughtful questions to gain as much relevant legal information as possible
Ensure forms have the proper signatures and that they're filled out correctly
Help train and support other agents on the team when needed
Keep all information confidential
Coordinate schedules and appointments
Obtain insurance or billing information
Process paperwork
Answer incoming inquires via phone, fax or email while taking note of important information
Follow up with clients and sharing vital information
Qualification and Experience: Must have a high school diploma and/or GED
Must have legal experience, customer service, contact center experience or related field experience
Must have exceptional people skills and enjoy meeting and talking on the phones
Must have excellent customer service skills
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Must have excellent computer skills
Must have excellent attention to detail
Must have good temperament and a high standard of ethics
