POSITION INFORMATION : Full-Time Position; Government contractor supporting DOJ NSD
LOCATION: Washington, DC (onsite)
POSITION TIMING: Position requires candidate to obtain SCI prior to starting which can take 2-4+ weeks

The mission of the National Security Division (NSD) is to carry out the Department's highest priority: to combat terrorism and other threats to national security. The Infrastructure Support and Software Development Services division provides all IT services necessary to support the NSD's Infrastructure & Operations as well as Software Development, Engineering, and Service Desk.
Responsibilities
Serves in a deputy role to the program manager. Assists with contract activities to include setting policies and procedures, technical standards and methods, and priorities, coordinating the management of work performed and the efforts of subcontractors, team members, and vendors.
Has direct accountability for the technical correctness, timeliness and quality of deliverables, and the implementation and measurement of corporate and client quality standards and methodologies.
Has a detailed knowledge of the IT industry, business administration, and human resource management and has excellent oral and written communications skills.
Assists with financials and reporting requirements.
Participates in status briefings and ad hoc meetings as required with the team and the customer.
Provides coaching, mentoring and feedback to direct reports.
Provides guidance and direction in multiple tasks across several functional areas and including the use of different technologies; and managing and controlling resources.
Manages engineering project development from inception to deployment; increasing responsibilities in information systems administration and management; and extensive experience with COTS integration and implementation.
Manages risks and issues and takes corrective measurements.
Communicates with stakeholders, inclding priorities and constraints, and utilizes program management tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.
Qualifications
10+ years of professional experience with a focus in federal Program/Project Management
Bachelor's Degree preferred; can be substituted with an additional 2+ years related experience
Experience supporting both development and infrastructure projects
PMP certification, preferred
Infrastructure Certifications, plus
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Active Top Secret, required .
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Candidate must be able to function in general office environment.
