**JOB SUMMARY**
DFA has an immediate job opening for a dependable CDL-A delivery truck driver to operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently and manually unload/deliver various ice cream products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule.
**This position is based out of our depot in Richardson,TX** . Our drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

**COMPENSATION:**
+ $30.57 per hour with a 40-hour guarantee*
+ Overtime applies after 40 hours
+ Paid Bi-Weekly
**SCHEDULE:**
+ The schedule for this opening will vary, depending on the route. Our drivers typically drive 1-2 routes in town and 1 route that requires a 2-night layover.

**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ High school diploma or GED preferred
+ 3 years related experience in food-service industry preferred (multiple stops, customer interaction, touch-freight)
+ Valid Class-A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
+ 21+ years of age
+ Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
+ Ability to read, write and communicate in English
+ Ability to push, pull and lift up to 55 pounds
+ Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
