Position Summary:

The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated.

Team Introduction

Finance BP and Business FP&A is a sub-department of Finance. It aims to improve management efficiency, drive key revenue initiatives, reduce financial risks and strengthen budget control by providing business analysis and management reports. This role will be supporting the E-Commerce business unit (TikTok Shop) in the US during its launch and expansion phase.

Responsibilities:

1. Analytics and business support: Conduct analyses to drive revenue optimization, improve expense management and overall P&L. Develop recommendations and present to leadership for implementation.

2. Management reporting preparation: Participate in monthly closing for management reporting, organize business and operational data to drive business decisions, prepare multi-dimensional management reporting financial statements, and explain budget to actual variances.

3. Projections and forecasts: Assist Finance leadership in producing financial projections and forecasts to ensure that the figures align with business fundamentals

4. Financial Operations: Develop and manage systems to support the financial operations of TikTok Shop by partnering with operations, product, sales, marketing and accounting teams

5. Procurement application and contract approval: review the procurement application and financial terms in the contract of each business/department to ensure efficient capital allocation

6. Master data and budget system maintenance: daily maintenance and update of budget accounts, cost centers and other financial master data, timely update of settings in the budget system, and complete daily updates and iterations of the budget system together with the information technology department.

7. Cooperation with other finance teams and business teams: cooperate with general ledger, accounts payable, taxation and other finance teams

Qualifications

1. Experience in corporate finance, consulting, investment banking or strategy and/or FP&A in a technology company

2. Soft skills: great communication skills, strong logical reasoning, team player, self-motivated, critical thinker, agile and resilient;

3. Hard skills: data analysis, financial modeling, and financial analysis; Advanced in excel, word, PPT, etc. Proificiency in SQL is a plus

Job Information:

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually) The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $68000 - $150000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
