**Job Description**
**SUMMARY:** The "Outsourcing Team Leader" at the Syntegon-Decatur site is a key team member of the local Purchasing Team that is responsible for our engineered parts and components. The following list represents these services and responsibilities; here are listed the significant / formative tasks (in terms of qualification requirements and work volume) are described.
***Your tasks:***
* Have direct responsibility for a specific portfolio of manufactured parts and components which include executing purchase orders, vendor interaction and technical explanations.
* As the Team Leader, there is a direct responsibility for developing processes and procedures for outsourcing and representation as the site owner during interactions with the North America Supply Chain Hub and other Global Supply Chain colleagues.
* Lead the implementation of processes and solutions within the Team.
* Provide guidance and direction for entire purchasing portfolio as needed.
* Partner with the North America Supplier Development Coordinator to manage the local vendor relationships through site visits, regular meetings and performance evaluations.
* Develop local vendor processes that support continuous improvement initiatives related to cost reductions, quality improvements and technology enhancements.

* **Experience and Know How:** relevant professional experience in purchasing manufactured parts
* Excellent MS-Office user skills and ERP solutions
* Education: relevant studies or higher, relevant education with many years of experience
**Qualifications**
**BASIC REQUIREMENTS:**
* Must possess a Bachelors degree or currently be enrolled in an accredited degree program that will be completed in 2 years or less
* Must have at least 3+ years of experience working in a purchasing / supplier development capacity outsourcing custom engineered parts
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
* Experience with SAP or similar ERP system preferred
* Proficient in office standard software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
* Action oriented, quick learner, ambitious; has experience in process improvements
* Demonstrated initiative, ownership & accountability.
