Job Summary:
The Soccer Operations Coordinator position will manage the day-to-day functions of the League, Events and Club side of the Soccer Department which encompasses numerous brands stakeholders. This individual will be the point person for coaches, program directors, and lead operations staff. The Coordinator performs routine assignments in the entry level to a professional job progression, and receives instruction, guidance, and direction from others. The candidate should be based in the New England region and ideally has a general knowledge of coaching soccer.
Job Responsibilities:
Events Tournament program builds, team registrations and invoicing
Pre-tournament logisitcs, on-site activation/management and post-tournament support
Summer camp logisitics and coordination for marketing material/needs
Onsite support at the Warehouse(s) for marketing & flex orders
Leagues Main contact point for adminstrative items, and transition to new technology platform, PlayerFirst
Session/division builds, and league registrars
Roster uploads, ensuring invoicing is divided correctly/setup prior to each session start
Create spreadsheet builds prior to every session tracking payment status and collections
Customer support
Clubs Third party program builds, registration, and invoicing for all 3STEP Brands, along with keeping track of invoices
Monitor check logs and apply payments for Leagues and Tournaments
Assist Soccer Admin team with apparel inventory, club apparel packages, organizing the gear room, etc.
Manage all staffing needs and event logistics for TST Event in June time
Seek and coordinate sponsorship and community packages
Overall... Learn and understand the daily accounting procedures and processes.
Assist in enter daily transactions that reconcile to supporting documentation.
Prepare month end journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting for assigned focus areas.
Enter accounting related information into operational logs.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the reporting structure to ensure transactions are recorded to the proper general ledger account.
Consistently stay organized within focus areas to communicate and help resolve open items in a timely manner.
Ability to prioritize daily tasks and escalate urgent matters.
Complete other ad hoc requests to assist the Accounting Team.
Responsible for understanding and complying with all policies, procedures, and regulations relating to job duties.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Events, Sports Management, or other related field, or related field, or equivalent experience
1-3 years of relevant experience
Ability to handle changing priorities
Willing and excited to hop into new projects and environments
Open to working occasional weekend events that our nine different sports will put on throughout the United States
Willing to take initiative, and are detail-oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
