About this team

This role supports the International Digital E-commerce team in the lululemon technology organization. This team is responsible for engineering and deploying technology to support e-commerce and full logistics support for order management. Senior Technology Manager is accountable for scaling, securing, and delivering on the International team’s product roadmap. Build engineering practices and create processes to drive consistency, efficiency, and quality solutions across international e-commerce sites. Partner and co-create engineering standards with the Enterprise Engineering team, Enterprise Cloud Platform teams, and Global Architecture teams to adopt/implement and introduce new practices specific to the International Commerce tech stack. Partner with business, product management, and delivery leaders to influence thought leadership to drive growth into International markets.

A day in the life:

Drive the vision and engineering for platforms and enterprise services for e-commerce platforms, integration systems, order management, and fulfillment.

Manage the engineering team providing technical expertise in the design, build, and launch of new systems supporting multiple stakeholders.

Build and support next-generation architecture using cloud and microservices framework, helping in scalability, and rolling out new features with shorter time to market

Focus on automation and DevOps practices which helps streamline quality rollout

Build, lead, and scale an exceptionally talented team of business analysts, project managers, engineers, and architects.

Partners with enterprise architecture, PMO, and business teams to implement the optimal technology solutions.

Manage large complex projects and teams; effectively negotiate/influence others; communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing.

Provides direction, leadership, and coordination for vendor partners. Also coordinates efforts with network infrastructure, legal, and Security teams.

Define the processes needed to achieve and sustain operational excellence, including project delivery and systems reliability.

Have a forward-thinking, empathy-driven mindset with people and development at the forefront.

Provide operational support to supported technology and systems

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree and/or applicable experience in the information technology field

10+ years of experience in information technology

Experience directly leading, and developing people and teams is required

Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems(Saas based and AWS) is required

Experience building microservices

7+ years of experience designing, engineering, and implementing large-scale, highly available systems with loosely coupled design patterns with specific experience in all of the following:

eCommerce platform development

Consumer product experience with retail

PCI and eCommerce security practices

7+ years of experience in Order Management, Omni Channel Fulfillment, and Supply Chain domains

7+ years of experience in software development

Experience with OMS, platforms like IBM Sterling

Background in Agile Methodologies

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism in working collaboratively at all levels inside and outside of the organization.

Experience working in multi-regional technology team models consisting of offshore, nearshore, and onshore

Compensation and Benefits Package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $166,200-$218,200 annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
