ASSYST is seeking for a Senior Business Data Analyst with Asset management/Portfolio Performance and Risk background to help analyze initial study of new initiatives that primarily involves report analysis and data cataloguing. The candidate should have prior experience in Finance domain with a concentration on asset management.
Location: Washington D.C. (Onsite)
Role Type: Contract (C2C / Corp to Corp or 1099)
Responsibilities:
Must be able to independently review the current data model in-place
Analyze data in the reports to understand them in conjunction to the data model and document the data catalogue at the entity attribute level.
Once the data points are catalogued, put in place a tracking mechanism to verify that these data points are addressed in the future solution
Work with the Lead BA and Technical team to design the future state and data conversion methodology and plan to address historical/future data/reporting needs
Use communication skills to work with end users in analyzing the reporting details.
Use analytical skills to learn our users’ business processes, document the data and process models and troubleshoot and maintain existing applications.
Document the processes/data required for building the reports on a data management system.
Perform data analysis as needed and document the calculations performed in a report.
Requirements:
Minimum 10+ years of Experience and knowledge of Capital and Investment Markets.
Ability to technically explore the databases/programs in-place
Ability to interact with clients and document the current business processes/reports.
Proven conceptual, analytical, and judgmental skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills
