**Clinical Support Specialist**
at CCS, LLC Bowie, MD The Clinical Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring all administrative associate support is provided for large abstraction teams. The incumbent will coordinate all administrative and first line technical issues for the teams that report up to an individual Clinical Quality Manager.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Serve as a liaison to assigned abstraction teams, including assignment and enrollment in training, communicating operational assignments, facilitating benefit and payroll, and other associate questions which may arise to the appropriate party for resolution;
* Work with the assigned abstraction team to resolve basic Tier I technology issues and assist in tracking technology tickets to ensure proper resolution by the Help Desk;
* Provide support and communication per a pre-defined schedule; including maintaining communications regarding status of Company and departmental projects, status of associate credentials;
* Data entry of accuracy and productivity rates into MedNet trackers and notify Leads of trends;
* Maintain abstractor project assignments and manage schedules for abstractors that have been temporarily assigned to complete on-site abstraction for the Operations team;
* Provide support in a team environment, including coordination of team building activities;
* Maintain compliance with Inovalons policies, procedures and mission statement;
* Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalons Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and
* Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.
**Job Requirements:**
* 2+ years of experience;
* Proficient in Microsoft Office;
* Ability to manage and meet deadlines;
* Professionally skilled in verbal and written communication;
* Detail-oriented, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; and
* Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
**Education:**
* High School Diploma/GED; and
* Some college and/or technical training preferred.
**Physical Demands and Work Environment:**
* Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);
* Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;
* Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
* Subject to inside environmental conditions; and
* Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.
