About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to join their executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for governing the primary elements of operations, with a focus on achieving corporate goals for service excellence while managing financial and space resources. This includes oversight of inventory procurement and management, logistics and transportation, and warehouse, distribution, and facility management. The role demands a leader with a strong background in these areas, the ability to set and meet customer service goals, and experience in international and domestic logistics.Applicants for the Vice President of Operations role at the company should hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in operations/supply chain management or a related field, and have a minimum of 15 years' experience in a similar capacity. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing diverse teams and leading cross-functional initiatives. Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining policies and processes, leading S&OP team meetings, and ensuring the achievement of customer shipment goals. The role requires a high level of integrity, strong leadership and teamwork capabilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based systems. The candidate must be willing to travel and be prepared for overnight stays as part of the job.
