Summary:
Zapata Technology is seeking a skilled and motivated SQL Database Administrator to be part of a team focused on technology for the DoD. As a crucial member of the team, the ideal candidate will bring expertise in designing, implementing and managing SQL databases. Experience with T-SQL and a deep understanding of SQL Server database systems required.

Job Qualifications:
Qualifications and Skills include:
Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft SQL Server in High Availability Group configurations.
Expertise in SQL database administration supporting and managing databases in a production environment.
Proficiency with T-SQL and ability to write scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views to automate maintenance functions.
Experience planning and implementing security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification, or disclosures.
Ability to be a team leader working as both part of a team and independently to assign/review immediate tasks, set priorities, maintain task progress, and validate team members work consistent with the organizational goals and deadlines.
Able to mentor junior personnel on proper practices and procedures.
Education/Certifications include: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MSCA) or SQL Server 2016 or SQL Database Administration Certification
IAT Level II

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
