About this opportunity

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in the analysis, design, implementation, and support of our customer facing web products. This role involves working closely with product management, design and engineering teams to ensure our systems meet business requirements and operate efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems analysis, technical problem-solving, and experience with complex systems.

In this role, you will…

Partnering with Product Management and Engineering to ensure continuous refinement of backlog, which may include stories from multiple projects.

Be responsible for direct interaction with stakeholders including, but not limited to, eliciting comprehensive business requirements and use cases and recommending appropriate solutions.

Accurately translates business requirements to detail-level system specifications

Deliver precise functional specifications to include functional hierarchy, workflow, business rules, interface definitions and design, and data mapping

Engage with Technical Architects and Developers on technical strategy and designs to meet the business needs

Conduct gap analysis between application and stated customer requirements and collaborate with Architects and Developers to estimate project impact.

Work with Development, QA, and Production Support teams to communicate, verify, and test the desired functionality changes.

Work with the stakeholders to demonstrate the changes to the system to ensure all relevant business needs are addressed.

Develop training materials and provide training in one-on-one or classroom environment.

Manage multiple competing priorities through effective organization and communication.

Recommend and institute BA best practice and methodology and tools

Work within or across multiple project teams to ensure that blockers are resolved, and communication gaps are plugged quickly and efficiently

Ensure quality and completeness of the finished product by participating in user acceptance testing, ensuring that acceptance criteria are met.

In this role, you’ll need …

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 8+ years of experience

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex issues and develop effective solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Experience with project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.

Experience with database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) and writing basic SQLs for analysis and data modeling.

Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript) is a plus.

Primary Location Base Salary Range: $151,100 to $178,800 USD

Base salary ranges are a guideline used to determine appropriate pay. Placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically. For field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable commission plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
