We are seeking a CMO to support this exciting joint venture!
Job Summary:
As the senior-level nursing executive for the Behavior Health Hospital, provides leadership/oversight for the provision of patient care and is responsible for development/implementation of clinical nursing policies that establish a uniform standard of quality patient care in accordance with the professional standards of the clinical disciplines, applicable regulatory requirements and business/patient care objectives of the organization. An incumbent provides strategic leadership through the implementation of key strategic and operational initiatives that improve financial performance/productivity, maximize effective utilization of resources, enhance patient outcomes/service satisfaction of all identified customer groups, promote effective safety/risk management and generate a competitive advantage for the organization.
An incumbent works in close collaboration other executive leaders in a team-oriented approach for strategic planning and operational oversight, and establishes and maintains professional and positive working relationships with physicians/providers, nursing/multidisciplinary team members, community groups and other leaders throughout the organization. ','!*!Education/Work Experience Requirements:
Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field
Seven years of progressively responsible related work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities, including five years in a leadership capacity and five years of work experience in a psychiatric setting.
Work experience in an acute care and/or emergency service setting is preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Current licensure by the Washington State Nursing Commission as a Registered Nurse.
Certification in Psychiatric Nursing is preferred.
Qualifies as a Mental Health Professional as defined in Washington State RCW/WAC.
