Salary Range: $80,000.00- $90,000.00 OTE
Role Summary:
Kargo is looking for a dynamic and passionate Manager to join our Research and Insights team- a strategic, cross-functional group that directly supports multiple functions of the business.
The Manager, of Research & Insights is responsible for developing a deep understanding of Kargo's strength in delivering ads on premium publisher sites and then measuring those findings across campaigns. The Research and Insights team supports various research/insights initiatives throughout the company. We also collaborate with teams in the US and abroad to measure Kargo's impact in driving advertising performance across the globe. In addition to extensive analytical and interpersonal skills, this role requires someone who knows how to interpret data and has a strong understanding of the media landscape.
We are seeking someone with strong expertise in proving campaign ad effectiveness, who understands the value of uncovering insights from internal and external data. This position requires an analytical and strategic mind that is able to absorb large amounts and varied sources of data while having the capability to see the "why" beyond the data to provide insights. Successful candidates will possess strong intellectual curiosity and a passion for achieving business impact. Skills in problem solving, analysis, and the ability to storytell with data is critical.
What You'll Do:
* Provide support in all stages of brand lift research including study design, field management, data analysis, and the final client deliverables to ultimately highlight Kargo's media impact* Expert in managing Foot Traffic, Sales Lift, Attention and R/F and creative evaluation studies for our clients* Participate in client-facing strategy sessions, campaign kick-off meetings, and end-of-campaign result presentations to provide performance insights and future campaign recommendations* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product to ensure the success of Kargo* Internal research expert to stakeholders, surfacing trends, consumer insights from 1st and 3rd party data sources* Establish processes and work closely with internal operations teams to ensure campaign measurement is set up success* Work closely with marketing teams to market thought leadership, develop brand positioning, and produce case studies showcasing best practices.
Who You Are:
* 4+ years relevant work experience in advertising effectiveness and primary research* Expert in Digital Media and CTV measurement* Direct experience with research services like comScore, Nielsen, Upwave, Dynata, Kantar, Foursquare, IRI, Samba, eMarketer, etc.* Experience conducting custom research and thought leadership studies* Technical knowledge of campaign setup is preferred* Strategic thinker with the ability to formulate innovative solutions to complex problems and keep ahead of industry trends* Experience supporting advertising agencies and sales/business development teams with consumer insight initiatives* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and demonstrable ability to motivate high-performing teams* Experience supporting internal and external teams with unique consumer insights* Microsoft Suite expert user and ability to extract and manipulate data with a high degree of accuracy
