Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst of Corporate Development to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis, to support corporate development decisions and strategic initiatives.
Perform rigorous due diligence on potential mergers and acquisitions, including financial and operational assessments, to identify risks, opportunities, and potential synergies.
Evaluate investment opportunities, such as joint ventures, partnerships, and strategic alliances, by analyzing financial statements, market trends, competitive landscapes, and other relevant factors.
Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to assess the financial impact of potential transactions and support long-term planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business cases and financial justifications for proposed corporate development projects, including cost-benefit analyses and return on investment calculations.
Assess the financial risks and opportunities associated with corporate development initiatives, providing recommendations to mitigate risks and optimize outcomes.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders, effectively communicating financial analysis findings, recommendations, and insights.
Conduct industry and market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential acquisition targets or strategic partnerships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
3+ years of Financial Analysis experience
Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools.
Deep understanding of corporate finance principles, valuation techniques, and financial statement analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Knowledge of mergers and acquisitions processes, due diligence, and deal structuring.
Solid understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
