Requirements
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
At least three years on-the-job experience in exhibit graphic design
Full knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Candidates with After Effects/animation and Infographics experience will be strongly considered.
Knowledge of print production specific to exhibit graphics design
Evidence of creative or technical ability as demonstrated by portfolio.
Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines and work both independently and in collaboration with others.
Ability to be responsible for multiple projects at one time.
Ability to solve complex design problems.
Ability to multi-task and set priorities with tight timelines and high client expectations
Desire to continue to grow in professional knowledge and honing skills to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity
Responsibilities Design and layout of environmental graphics for large format printing with some knowledge of fabrication and materiality.
Communicate and collaborate frequently with staff members from other departments-to understand the substantive, interpretive, and informational goals of exhibitions, publications, and other projects and to create appropriate designs for them.
Collaborate with colleagues on a variety of graphic deliverables, as well as outside vendors. Assuring quality and maintaining deadlines. Work well within deadline parameters, completing projects in a timely manner.
Study design briefs and determine requirements
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
Adhere to and develop to brand style guides
Amend designs after feedback
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Salary range 70,000 to 90,000
Salaries vary in response to an individual's experience and proven track record based on total value of projects designed or managed, number of staff managed, complexity of projects completed, presentation experience, and seniority.
