Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager specializing in water and wastewater projects to join our flexible team in Chicago. In this role, you will lead a team of engineering professionals, overseeing the planning, design, and execution of various water and wastewater projects. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage water and wastewater projects from inception to completion.
Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements are met.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Mentor and guide a team of engineering professionals, fostering a cooperative and high-performance work environment.
Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing water and wastewater projects.
Successfully in leading engineering teams and managing projects.
Strong knowledge of water and wastewater engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
