Job Title: Wireless Network Operations Engineer
Location: (Must be onsite at least 3 days/week) in Mountain View, CA
Duration: 6 months
Seeking a Senior Wireless Network Engineer with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The Engineer will actively contribute a WiFi6 role out and will be involved in LAN refreshes, switch swaps and creating network dashboards, while working closely with Network Architects, Operations Engineers, and senior leadership to provide top-tier customer service to the business.
Responsibilities
Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Provide daily support of LAN, WAN, Wireless and Network Trading Infrastructures. This includes monitoring, administering, and troubleshooting to maximize network availability
Monitors network performance to ensure capacity planning is performed and is proactive in assessing and recommending improvement.
Complete project tasks/milestones and BAU work as a member of the Network Operations team
Perform written Root Cause Analysis documents for network outages and incidents when required
Ability to resolve incidents, problems, and change requests in accordance with service-level agreements (SLA's) within approved maintenance windows
Strong analytical network troubleshooting skills and proficiency with packet capture tools
Ability to perform complex migrations/upgrades and deploy new technologies/features as the network environment evolves
Experience with developing professional diagrams and illustrations of network infrastructure
Research industry trends and becomes familiar with the laws and regulations of the firm
Utilize company resources to improve processes and procedures for team
Ensure operational documentation is completed and shared among entire Network Systems group
Update internal systems with the most current data and/or information as required/needed
Assist with preparing information and research materials for review
Attend meetings, events, and other networking opportunities
Experience with fundamentals in disaster recovery, change management, logging and alerting, and incident response

Qualifications
4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems or relevant experience/certifications
8 + years' experience providing Network Engineering support
Experience managing a WiFi6 rollout
5 + years' experience building/managing relationships with senior technical customers
5 + years' experience supporting Cisco ASA/Palo Alto Firewalls
5 + years' experience supporting F5 Load Balancers
3 + years' experience supporting Cloud-based network infrastructure (Azure/AWS)
3 + years' experience supporting multicast (IGMP, PIM, RP)
Experience with automation tools, Python, Ansible, etc.
Strong verbal and written communication
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Extensive experience with the following technologies BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, QoS, PBR, VSS, HSRP, STP, and WAN Optimization technologies
Experience configuring and maintaining Cisco ISE in an enterprise environment
Experience supporting Arista and Cisco switching (Catalyst/Nexus)
Operational experience with SD-WAN solutions a plus
Operational experience with Cisco Meraki (Wireless) a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, team-oriented environment
Solid organizational skills, strong work ethic and attention to detail
