Job Description

Position Overview:

The Field Market Supervisor is responsible for overall field performance in the assigned market, setting expectations in terms of productivity, quality, safety, and installation process standards. Monitors and redirects daily execution to ensure defined processes are followed and customer expectations are met. This role is also responsible for the talent development and progression of field employees through the Avanti Expert program with the goal of building a talent pool for future growth.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Manages daily execution of installation and service commitments

Reviews incomplete job issues to determine root cause, address field issues promptly and communication other issues to correct leader

Management of assign direct reports, including, hiring, onboarding, and training, performance manager and employee relations.

Responsible for field employee development through Avanti Expert program execution

Maintains a pulse on market trends and changes impacting construction regulations

Proactive partner in staffing needs across all hub locations to deliver sales and profitability commitments

Manages through key performance indicators such as units per hour

Work cross functionally with other departments and leaders across the organization

Provides feedback to other business leaders based on field observations and experiences

Deescalates urgent issues with the ability to identify root cause and establish process improvement

Manages staffing balancing across locations to assist with peaks and valleys of business changes

Mentors and develops field supervisors in overall leadership and understanding of business

Analyze and interpret performance metrics, providing direction to appropriate parties for course correction

Skills/Knowledge: Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to present data to top level leaders and decision makers

Ability to influence non-direct reports

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; managing multiple projects simultaneously

Exceptionally well organized and efficient to meet commitments

Ability to maintain a positive attitude while tackling dynamic projects

Talented and strong people manager, mentor, and coach

Deep understanding of relationships and how to build/influence others

Ability to be innovative and be agile to changing business conditions

Technically proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Apple iOS

Qualifications:

Ability to read, interpret, understand, and explain documents such as sales processes, product specifications or warranty manuals. Ability to effectively present information to others, gather information from others, and respond appropriately to questions from customers, coworkers, and managers. Must display excellent phone and email etiquette. Must be able to present appropriate attitude for the situation when interacting with customers or coworkers.

Professional Skills:

Must be a team player and exhibit a strong desire to learn and promote self-growth. Must be pro-active, self-disciplined, self-motivated, and have a demonstrated ability to follow projects through to completion. Attention to detail is required.
