The Administrator-Information Services Senior is part of the IU Health Offensive Security Team. The IU Health Offensive Security team is responsible for improving IU Health’s security posture by emulating bad cyber actors. The team accomplishes this through a number of capabilities including conducting offensive security engagements, threat research, penetration, web app security, medical device testing, and advising a number of business stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides support on upgrades, and acts as a vendor liaison for assigned area under limited supervision.
Manages the installation, maintenance, configuration and integrity of computer software.
Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.
Ensures that technology components meet the application performance needs and complies with the organizational strategy of the organization.
Standardizes processes and procedures that are derived from working with other technical and application staff within the organization and monitors and controls the performance of the application.
Implements system enhancements and resolves day-to-day technical problems with the business systems.
Maintains excellent working knowledge of the technology components for products assigned to support and maintains awareness of technical innovations and potential system level improvements.
Acts as a mentor to other team members.

Healthcare experience
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
5-7 years of experience required.
Requires business process understanding; preferable in the health care environment.
Requires comprehensive experience in security design tools.
Requires demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
