YOU WILL:

Provide access to business insights and intelligence through dashboards, reports, data pipelines, and data analysis.

Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

Apply algorithms and statistical analysis tools to create intelligence from information.

Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.

Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Apply verification and validation techniques to ensure the accuracy and precision of data and analysis.

Consult with stakeholders and groups throughout the organization to help answer business questions with data.

Work with data engineers to discover and integrate data from various and disparate sources and produce data sets that you will use to provide analysis.

Remain current with industry standards and technological advancements that will improve the quality of your outputs.

YOU HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, from an accredited college or university, plus a minimum 2 years’ experience as a Data Analyst; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent attention to detail.

Experience with at least (1) programming language commonly used in data analysis (R, Python, etc.)

Proficient with data visualization principles and best practices.

Ability to expertly perform statistical analysis.

Ability to create models for analyzing what-if and predictive scenarios.

Ability to interpret trends in data and apply to concrete business outcomes.

Ability to perform complex analysis techniques (regression, clustering, etc).

Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.

Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.

Expert capability in written and oral communication.
