Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Director of Regional Marketing to lead and drive marketing and growth strategies within our Markets. This role plays a pivotal role in aligning marketing efforts with business goals, collaborating with internal and external communications, and ensuring the success of Market initiatives.

Position Summary:

The Senior Director of Regional Marketing is responsible for providing marketing and growth leadership alongside the Market Chief Strategy Officer. This role collaborates closely with colleagues leading internal and external communications and partners with various stakeholders to drive marketing alignment, operational readiness, and marketability. The Senior Director is accountable for defining marketing planning, overseeing online content and SEO, and ensuring the seamless execution of marketing initiatives to meet Market business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing and Growth Leadership: Collaborate with Market leadership and participate in growth councils to align marketing efforts with business goals and outcomes, reporting to the National Marketing Leader.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with colleagues leading internal and external communications to ensure coordinated marketing efforts.

Business Understanding: Develop a thorough understanding of the Market's business, including growth drivers, business analytics, demographics, and market research.

Strategic Marketing Planning: Define marketing planning that aligns with national dynamic planning, supports Market annual strategic planning, and enables year-round iteration to meet business goals.

Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with hospital and facility leadership, service line leadership, and clinical leadership to achieve goals by line of business, especially within the largest revenue-generating lines.

Horizontal Growth Alignment: Lead marketing alignment on horizontal growth targets within the market (e.g., ASCs, imaging, therapy/rehab, Ascension Rx, post-acute) to achieve line of business goals.

Direct-to-Provider Marketing: Partner closely with business development teams to lead direct-to-provider marketing and engagement, provider-directed content, creative, and digital marketing support.

Online Content and SEO: Oversee online content and SEO for all priority lines of business, collaborating with service lines for content development and CMS teams for publishing and maintenance.

Tactical Activation: Customize and localize direct marketing tactical activation, aligning with digital marketing roadmaps to meet Market business needs.

Operational Readiness: Identify, advocate for, and resolve operational readiness and marketability issues, ensuring a seamless path to conversion.

Provider and Location Data: Oversee provider promotion and data verification, as well as location verification and data management, presenting on the website and other marketing platforms.

Content Production: Oversee market content curation, story gathering, video production, and dynamic and written content production needs.

Social Media Management: Manage social media content production and community management, coordinating with consumer experience for service recovery.

Brand Affiliation: Ensure Market brand affiliation, partnership, sponsorship, and brand valuation activation and fulfillment, collaborating with national marketing operations.

Procurement and Budget: Collaborate with national marketing operations on marketing procurement, locally sourced contracts, HR and hiring needs, technology support, data/platform support, and budget management.

Sponsorship and Event Activation: Oversee Market sponsorship and event activation, including Foundation liaison support, sponsorship media, tactical fulfillment, and event support.

Requirements

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

Additional Preferences

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in marketing roles with a strong focus on healthcare, hospitality, credit card industry, or financial services.

Demonstrated expertise in marketing leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

Horizontal Growth Alignment: Expertise in leading marketing alignment on horizontal growth targets within the market, such as Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs), imaging, therapy/rehab, Ascension Rx, and post-acute services.

Direct-to-Provider Marketing: Proficiency in partnering closely with business development teams to lead direct-to-provider marketing and engagement strategies, including provider-directed content, creative, and digital marketing support.

Online Content and SEO: Experience overseeing online content and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies for all priority lines of business. Familiarity with content development, review/approval processes, and CMS team collaboration for timely publishing and maintenance.

Tactical Activation: Ability to customize and localize direct marketing tactical activation, aligning with digital marketing roadmaps to meet Market business needs. Allocation and fulfillment management for paid search, paid social, email marketing, direct mail, targeted digital display, and video campaigns.

Operational Readiness: Strong problem-solving skills to identify, advocate for, and resolve operational readiness and marketability issues. Ensuring a seamless path from marketing claims and value propositions to conversion.

Data Management: Oversight of provider promotion, provider data verification, and liaison with AMG analysts/credentialing/medstaff for data management and correction on the website and other marketing platforms.

Content Production: Management of market content curation, story gathering, and production, including video, dynamic, and written content.

Social Media Management: Proficiency in social media content production and community management, including coordination with consumer experience teams for service recovery.

Brand Affiliation: Familiarity with Market brand affiliation, partnership, sponsorship, and brand valuation activation and fulfillment. Collaboration with national marketing operations on sponsorship reviews for alignment with values and business value requirements.

Marketing Technology: Experience with marketing applications and technology, including CRM platforms, digital marketing tools, marketing automation systems, content management systems (CMS), and data analytics tools.

Budget Management: Proficiency in budget management, allocation of resources, and spend forecasting to achieve marketing goals efficiently.

Event Activation: Oversight of Market sponsorship and event activation, including Foundation liaison support, sponsorship media, tactical fulfillment, and event support.
