Position Overview

We are actively seeking accomplished Territory Sales Managers with retail category experience in Convenience & Gas, Neighborhood Markets who can leverage their existing retail contacts and relationships to propel our business forward. As a pivotal member of our retail sales team, the Territory Sales Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing all retail sales in their territory reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Role Mission

The mission of the Territory Sales Manager is to contribute significantly to FÜM's vision and mission by spearheading the development of our retail sales channel. This role holds paramount importance as we launch our retail operations in 2024. The Territory Sales Manager is tasked with cultivating relationships with independent retailers, chain retailers and distributors resulting in agreements to stock and sell Füm products. The primary objective is to ensure widespread accessibility of Füm products in the market, providing alternative options for Smokers and Vapers who are seeking to quit.

Responsibilities

Sell into independent and chain retail stores within your territory.

Manage sales and distribution within a designated territory, overseeing merchandising efforts.

Sell company initiatives to retail partners responsibly, encompassing promotions, inventory management, and pricing strategies.

Implement the 4Ps (presence, pricing, promotion, and product) effectively with customers.

Develop a local strategy and business plan to achieve individualized territory objectives, identifying, analyzing, prioritizing, and targeting existing and potential retail outlets for product sales opportunities.

Consult and advise retail partners on category management and business analytics to enhance their business performance.

Innovate strategies for business improvement through data analysis, brand marketing, product placement, and pre-call planning.

Develop or utilize systems to track, measure, and analyze progress against key initiatives and other business metrics.

Conduct ongoing training and impactful experiences to enhance potential growth.

Utilize analytic tools to evaluate market opportunities and assess business performance.

Successfully execute all account management responsibilities across independent, chain, and distribution headquarters accounts.

Key Performance Indicators  Revenue: Meet and exceed monthly revenue goals.

Margins: Negotiate required margins with retailers.

Category experience in Convenience & Gas Liquor & Neighborhood Markets. An existing network of retailers and distributors who you are already doing business with.

Proficient in using sales technologies, including CRM’s, CMS, and analytics tools.

Collaborate effectively in a team environment, developing strong account relationships cross-functionally.

Valid U.S. driver's license in good standing for the last 3 years.

Reliable vehicle or willingness to obtain a vehicle for daily work use.

Ability to focus and manage multiple priorities.

Mobility and willingness to advance your career are definite advantages.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Capability to climb and work from heights ranging from 9 to 12 feet.

Access and work in limited and confined spaces.

Visual inspection and manipulation of merchandise and advertising displays.

Frequent stooping, kneeling, and crouching.

Ability to drive up to 100 miles per day.

Compensation The compensation for this role ranges between $90,000 and $110,000 annually OTE.

Eligible after 1 Full Month of Employment starting the first of the month following.
