Job Description and Duties
The California State Lottery (Lottery) is looking for a Senior Software Developer/Administrator with strong analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills to join our Enterprise Software Administration and Support team. This team handles all development, administration, operation, and support for our cloud-based ServiceNow platform. Additionally, the team handles development tasks in conjunction with an implementation partner for larger or more complex projects. The team has a strategic focus on best practices, automation, and security, and to digitize and optimize IT service catalog offerings.

Desirable Qualifications
In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
Extensive experience in Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) tool/platform Development
Extensive experience in Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) tool/platform Administration
Certification of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
Knowledge of Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) practices
Proficient in scripting languages and have experience with web services, API integrations, and data imports/exports.
Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop quality documentation that clearly articulates solutions
Ability to provide information technology consultation in support of business programs
Ability to research and find answers to complex technical issues and exercise a high degree of initiative and independence
Ability to manage Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) tool/platform projects

Pay: $7,893.00 - $10,576.00 per month
