**General Purpose**
The senior tax accountant for PacifiCorp is responsible for preparing the Company’s federal, state, and local income tax returns, quarterly estimated tax payments, and conducting income tax research and analysis.
**Responsibilities of this position include the following:**
+ Participate as a member of the compliance team to prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns.
+ Tax forecasting and preparation of quarterly federal, state, and local income tax estimated payments.
+ Prepare tax calculations for annual income tax return, annual and quarterly income tax provisions, annual budget and 10-year plan.
+ Provide technical input and recommendations for management.
+ Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
**Requirements of this position include the following:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
+ Six or more years of related work experience, four of which is in income tax accounting with a certified public accountant designation or a graduate business degree. If no CPA designation or graduate business degree, eight or more years of related work experience, four of which is in income tax accounting.
+ Strong knowledge of tax law and procedures, tax research skills, familiarity with various tax returns and schedules.
+ Strong computer software skills.
+ Effective oral and written communication skills.
+ Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
**Preferences**
+ Advanced degree and/or CPA designation.
+ Big Four Accounting Experience.
+ Utility Experience

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 12% of salary.
